Postage Stamp Trains
Of all the physical items of my youth, this perhaps stirs the strongest and fondest memories, for it was with this wonderful train set that my destiny as a lifetime N Scale model railroader was established. While slightly crude by today's standards, Aurora's Postage Stamp trains are still venerated by many modelers; they well and truly set the gold standard for the industry in 1967.
Recently purchased through eBay purely for the sake of nostalgia, amazingly this set is unused—the inner containers are still sealed in cellophane.
