![]() Code 40 diamond Shortly after finishing the crossover, I made this crossing. It is patterned after one I found in eastern Pennsylvania—what surprised me was the length of the guard rails, which I duly reproduced. At this scale of enlargement, it is easy to see the gaps necessary to provide electrical isolation in the frogs, at left and right. Once again, all of the ties were hand-cut from PC board, and the excess cladding was removed to leave behind tie plates.
