This view offers an admittedly poor glimpse of the middle of the enginehouse, where a volunteer tries to keep the floor clean. A compressor hose is sprawled across the floor behind him. Along the back edge are several other items of interest, including flue pipes on sawhorses (inspired by a similar scene from life at the New Hope and Ivyland Railroad in Pennsylvania), an extension ladder on the floor behind the flues, a barrel holding more brooms, oil drums and a cache of acetylene tanks.
