Roughing out the turnouts

After applying the styrene ties directly to the double-stick foam, sections of flex track with ties removed were placed over top. The rails were shifted around until there were no joints on the stock rails through the turnouts. In this image, the rails that meet at the frogs were clipped to length, and all of the rails were heat-bonded to the styrene ties.
