WR&N Version IV: The Frame Grab Collection

Aside from my pinhole photographs and the handful of slides that I shot for Model Railroader articles, the only other images of the WR&N IV that survive are video frames grabbed from a Hi-8 camcorder tape. While I was busy photomapping the layout, I used the camcorder as a quick and easy way to scope out potential slide photographs. I'd shoot models or scenes from a variety of angles, and study the videotape for the best compositions.

Here are all 14 extant frame grabs (since both layout and videotape no longer exist, this is all there ever will be). Click the thumbnails for larger versions and detailed descriptions. Most of the links lead to clinics on how the modeling was done.
