New digs for the White River and Northern III This is the WR&N engine facility, located alongside the Conrail mainline in the foreground. The turntable pit is clearly visible at the left edge of the image. Toward the upper far right, one of the four suspension cables is visible. The cables ran through pulleys mounted to the ceiling across to the corner of the room and down to a counterweight.
