The WR&N II gets under way

Sometime very early in 1988, construction on the second White River and Northern was begun. At the time, I was working as a desktop publisher, back during the early days of the industry when hardly anyone knew what "desktop publishing" meant. One day at work during lunch (15 December 1987, to be precise), I rendered a graphic of the benchwork for the Fresnel area. Created on a Macintosh, the computer graphic made it easier to plan the complex angles required to build this section. Early CAD! The scan shows my penciled-in notes and revisions.

Image specs: The photo is a scan of a 4x6 color print taken with a 35mm camera of unknown type. The negative is long gone.
