A close-up of the transition between the Fresnel city and the CNE yard reveals the space awaiting a turntable. Just as John Allen had done on his Gorre and Daphetid, the yard was to be doubled in size using the old mirror trick. Buildings were planned to block the view of the duplicate turntable and enginehouse.
